Eat My Heart Out: Bespoke Recipes for the Spoken Word
Eat My Heart Out is a supper club dedicated to savoring the art of storytelling. Created in March of 2012 by director Eugene Ashton-Gonzalez and chef Luke Davin, we held our inaugural underground storytelling dinner party in a bewitching loft down under the Manhattan Bridge.
At the event, diners are treated to a five-course menu and signature cocktail while taking in the personal stories of some of New York’s best storytellers, writers, and performers. The ingredients, recipe, and plating of each course was a metaphoric and artistic expression of the teller’s tales. Our unique production design sweeps our guests into the narrative of the night from the opening toast to the dessert’s denouement.
